ABOUT JETWIND

JETWIND was incorporated in São Paulo - Brazil by 2014 with expertise centered in high-tech fields as:

  • Engine Health Monitoring avionics for ethanol powered aircraft

  • RFID for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Life Cycle Management (LCM) of critical components

 

The company became specialized in Unmanned Vehicles Engineering, mainly aircraft, the popular “drones” and their systems, officially named by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) and Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) respectively.

JETWIND develops  RPAS to support "non hobby" markets that demand equipments with capacity to fly Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) in multi missions with long Endurance (total flight time), persistent area coverage (loiter time or time on station) and long Range (flight distance).

 

 

 

As part of its strategic growth plan, JETWIND, a member of the Brazilian Defense and Security Industries Association (ABIMDE), will launch its international operations including the European Union and Americas.

 

We are proud of Design, Develop, Manufacture and Flight Test succesfully the first Brazilian fixed wing VTOL RPAS, the RQ-17 ION

PhD in Military Sciences by the Brazilian Army, graduate by the Superior War School (ECEME), military attaché and Chief of the Brazilian Army Commission in Washington-USA, specialist in Security and Defense (S & D).

JETWIND is an Unmanned Vehicles Engineering company (NCAGE 020AK) that provides solutions as Equipments, Services, Training and Maintenance for professionals. Our core business are the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)  created to complete specific missions.

FROM REQUIREMENTS TO PRODUCTS

The JETWIND designs are the response to real end users requirements.  Since from their Conceptual Design, it is taken into account all applicable Aeronautical Standards to ensure the production of a certifiable aircraft by worldwide competent authorities.

Same philosophy is applied to the Systems where the reliability and Flight Safety are the main drivers. To be able to operate in Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) mode, both hardware and software must comply with specific standards as the Military, known as "MIL-STD".

The designs are assisted by CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics) and Structural Analisys softwares, usual tools in the aeronautical industry.

JETWIND's design process follows the best pratices of the Aeronautical market and employs software tools for systems performance analisys. Among these tools is the CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics) used to optimize the aerodynamic characteristics of our aircraft.

SYSTEMS INTEGRATION

INFORMATION

JETWIND's RPAS design philosophy allows the integration of multiple payloads, as Electro-optical (E/O), Infra Red (IR), Thermal, Multi and Hyperspectral cams, with Control Ground Stations (CGS) via robust RF or Satcom links to deliver to the end users reliable information within their Operations Theater.

The Systems Integration process demands Ground and Flight Tests performed to prove the JETWIND's RPAS compliance with all applicable standards required to ensure safe and efficient operations.
