RQ-17 ION QUADROTOR
QUAD1: Standard Quadrotor, with 4 electric motors and no wing, able to perform all the missions assigned to a service drone with many payload options. Its Concept of Operations (CONOPS) complies with the Brazilian ANAC regulations that allows Visual Line Of Sight (VLOS) flights up to 120 m of altitude.
QUAD2: same features of the QUAD1 however equipped with a Tethering System, a case in the ground with a reel and cable of 100 m for providing power and comms to the drone that can stay in the air for about 7 to 10 hours.
QUAD3: same features of the QUAD1 however equipped with a Interchangeable Nose and fuselage designed to be connected with wing tips and tail what converts a quadrotor in a fixed wing with all electric propulsion system.
