JETWIND can provide complete RPAS for users that need to perform Tactical or Strategic Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions including Security and Defense forces. Specific airborne sensors are capable of producing valuable information to support decision makers.
For both, ISR and Inspection, the RQ-17 ION flight hour can costs much less than a manned helicopter or fixed wing aircraft. Other advantage of the RQ-17 ION employment is the reduction of risk exposure of personnel.
The RQ-17 ION adds value to Maritime Patrol missions by its VTOL capability and Endurance being fit for operation in vessel decks without any need of catapults for launching or recovery system as nets.
Long borders demand Endurance. The RQ-17 ION presents long flight time when compared with another RPA and is equipped with robust hardware able to operate in particular weather conditions with high temperature and humidity.
POWER GRID INSPECTION
The RQ-17 ION can replace helicopters in overhead lines usually inspected by manned helicopters. Our unmanned aircraft can fly over 350 km with airborne sensor able to identify specific failures in high voltage power lines.
Oil & Gas surface pipelines can be inspected by the RQ-17 ION for detection of abnormal conditions involving safety or security, specially those installed in regions with limited ground access.
PRECISION FARMING AND NATURAL RESOURCES PROTECTION
With its long Endurance, the RQ-17 is fit for imaging of large plantations, specially in crops above 8.000 hectares; the platform can transport Multi or Hyperspectral cameras and deliver data in a shorter time when compared with conventional hobby like RPAS.
